Huge Love Island announcement to be made by This Morning’s Holly and Phil

This Morning has teased a huge – and exclusive – Love Island announcement to be made on the show on Wednesday.

Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby have told eager viewers that there is set to be some news about June's return to the villa at 12.15pm on Wednesday's programme.

It comes as the air date for the new series of Love Island is rumoured to be approaching – but has not yet been officially confirmed.

Viewers are definitely keeping a close eye on This Morning for any potential news of a return to the villa.

And with line-up rumours flying around the Internet, things feel tenser than ever.

It comes after ex-Islander Olivia Attwood has predicted a "more raunchy" series than ever, after a long year and a few months of pandemic restrictions.

With the show rumoured to be starting on June 28, Cheshire-based beauty Olivia thinks that 18 months of restrictions mean there could be more sex in the villa than ever.

"It’s possible they will be more wild," she told the Daily Star.

"We’ve all been locked up and everyone is looking to blow off some steam – in general this could be a really good summer to be single and enjoying yourself.

“It’ll be good for the viewers if Love Island goes that way," she added.

"The new series will be the perfect escapism from everything that is going on in the world at the moment and provide some light relief.

"I’ve really missed it because it hasn’t been on for so long. It was weird watching it in 2018 because it felt like seeing other people in your house, but I’m excited to watch it as a fan again this year."

ITV have been keeping its cards pretty close this year, though some potential candidates have slipped through the net and are expected to be rocking up to the villa later this month.

Reports have claimed that para-athlete and social media influencer Milly Pickles has been approached to appear on the show.

The 26-year-old has more than 25,000 followers on Instagram.

Also rumoured to be appearing is Leeds-based student dentist Zack Chugg, who embarked on a weight loss journey before university and now regularly thrills fans with his fitness-based updates.

"I think they are really fascinated by what I do and I don’t know if they’ve met someone who does the sort of thing [I] do yet," Zack said.
