I’m A Celeb fans spot ‘real reason’ Scarlette was given the boot before Boy George and Sue Cleaver | The Sun

I'M a Celebrity fans think they've worked out the real reason Scarlette Douglas was given the boot before Boy George and Sue Cleaver.

Last night Scarlette, 35, became the second person to leave the jungle, after Loose Women's Charlene White was evicted on Friday.

Despite the A Place in the Sun presenter being more popular with viewers than Coronation Street star Sue, 59, and Culture Club singer George, 61, it's been speculated that her smaller fan base is to blame for her early exit.

Writing on Reddit, one fan insisted: "She is a casualty of the public not knowing she was at risk.

"This happens every year public think she is safe so don't vote for her. There is always someone this happens to.

"If she survived tonight, she would have gone far because she was known to be at risk."

Another commented: "I think it didn’t help that she was one of the least famous ones going in.

"Even though Boy George gets a lot of hate, he definitely still has a big fanbase from his music."

And a third said: "I think she’s one of those people that is just lovely but doesn’t have a loyal fan base."

Viewers were left stunned when Scarlette was given the boot last night.
