Inside Suranne Jones' incredible London home with huge wooden bed and modern decor

ACTRESS Suranne Jones has wowed audiences for her acclaimed roles in Doctor Foster, Gentleman Jack and Save Me.

Yet, it is her North London home which is sure to command attention now as she gave her 344,000 Instagram followers a glimpse of her idyllic pad.

The former Corrie star lives in the incredible abode with her husband, magazine editor Laurence Akers, and their four-year-old son.

The space is sports modern decor throughout, which makes it the perfect space to relax in after a long day on set.

In Suranne's living room, the room boasts velvet couches and a decorate rug that offsets the wooden floors.

The TV star complemented the room with wooden side tables, lightbulb table lamp and framed prints on the wall.

Suranne also gave her fans a glimpse of her white wardrobe filled with her and her husband's thread.

Meanwhile, the actress has shared a series of snaps throughout her time on Instagram of her bedroom, which boasts sage green walls and a statement dark wood sleigh bed.

From the shots she has shared of the space, Suranne has kept her sleeping quarters zen with minimal decor – simply an antique-inspired mirror and sconces on either side of the bed.

The home appears to be the perfect abode for her and her family.

Suranne notably met her husband Laurence, who is 10 years her senior, at the wedding of actress Sally Lindsay, in 2014 and were engaged within six weeks.

They married the following year at a private ceremony in Islington Town Hall near their North London home.

They then welcomed their son in March 2016 and have not revealed his name to this day.

Mancunian Suranne became a household name in 2000 when she joined Coronation Street for a four-year stint.

She won a National Television Award for her role as factory worker Karen, who went on to marry Steve McDonald.

Following her stint on the soap, Suranne went on to win Best Actress at theTV BAFTAs in 2016 for her turn as vindictive Gemma Foster in Doctor Foster opposite Jodie Comer.
