Kate Garraway forced to pull out of GMB after sharing ‘urgent’ issues at home

Kate Garraway has updated her 1.1 million Instagram followers on why she missed the 8th anniversary edition of Good Morning Britain yesterday (Friday 29th April).

Kate's life has been turned upside down since her husband Derek Draper fell ill with Covid in March 2020.

He spent over a year in hospital, and is now at home with Kate and their children.

It’s thought Derek is one of the worst affected Covid survivors.

Earlier this year, Kate shockingly revealed that Derek would die within three days if his expert care was removed.

Kate often gets up every two hours in the night to help the overnight carer to move him in bed, and she has to wash and change his bed linen a staggering seven times a day.
