Lexi Pearce (Isabella Brown) is set to receive some devastating news in upcoming EastEnders scenes as she is told that mum Lola (Danielle Harold) is dying.
Lola was diagnosed with an incurable brain tumour in heart-breaking scenes last year. Since then, she has been undergoing chemotherapy to manage her condition, but has been told that the cancer is terminal.
As Lola breaks the news to her daughter, she is surprised by her reaction.
Lexi, who skips school to support her mum until she gets better, doesn’t cry over the news. Instead, she demands to go straight back to school, furious that she has been lied to again.
Will Lola be able to make amends with her daughter?
Co-stars of Isabella Brown have been full of praise for the young actress throughout this difficult storyline, with Jay Brown actor Jamie Borthwick saying ‘she’s great’.
‘She’s such a talented little actress – so switched on!’, he added. ‘She’s also very funny, and she joins in with us and our laughs.’
Danielle Harold shared similar thoughts, saying: ‘She’s just blown me away!’
‘Isabella is the best, I couldn’t have done it without her. The way she’s been supporting me – she’s been my little rock.’
