LISA Marie Presley looks exhausted and heartbroken after a long day in court as she fights for custody of her 11-year-old twins.
Elvis' only daughter, who lost her son Benjamin to suicide three weeks ago after he shot himself in the head, came face-to-face with her ex Michael Lockwood in court on Monday.
Wearing pearl earrings and her long brunette hair loose, the 52-year-old looked distraught as she was pictured going through a McDonald's drive-thru with a friend.
The former couple, who split in 2016 after 10 years of marriage, are involved in a private court battle, expected to last until the end of August, which will finally end their marriage four years after they split.
Michael is also attempting to obtain primary custody of their 11-year-old twins Harper and Finley.
An insider told The Sun exclusively that Michael has hired Joseph Yanny, partner of LA-based Yanny & Smith, a powerhouse attorney who represented the Church of Scientology for years before severing ties.
In court documents filed last week, Michael expressed concerns about his ex Lisa Marie relapsing into drugs and alcohol, along with guns at the family's $1.8million residence in Calabasas after Ben's tragic death.
"Lisa Marie Presley's son shot and killed himself in her home (Although she was not there at the time)," he wrote in papers filed last week.
He further alleged: "With all due sympathy and respect, this creates a new and unaddressed twofold problem: the safety of the children and the greater likelihood of [Presley] to relapse into drug and alcohol dependency.
"Thus, there is a significantly higher risk to the safety of the children which would ordinarily justify 100 percent physical custody (to me) at this time in such circumstances."
"The children told (me) that (LMP) walked around the house with a gun in her hand in 2017," he alleged in court papers.
"There was at least one gun on the premises of her home at the time of her son’s suicide and it is unclear where the gun was kept or whether Finley and/or Harper might have access to this gun or others."
Benjamin's cause of death is a shotgun wound and the manner is classified as a suicide, the Los Angeles Coroner confirmed to The Sun following a July 13 autopsy.
