Little Mix's Jesy Nelson is living her 'best life' in lockdown but admits being away from the band is 'horrible'

LITTLE Mix singer Jesy Nelson has admitted she's "living my best life" in coronavirus-imposed lockdown – but being back filming the band's latest music video was the "weirdest experience."

The popstar spoke to ITV daytime show This Morning via video link to her home in Brentwood, Essex, where she has been hunkering down during the pandemic.

The 29-year-old brunette, who looked glowing with a golden tan accentuated by her white T-Shirt, said: "I've got to be honest, I feel like I am living my best life.

"All I have been doing is eating, watching Netflix and going in the garden.

"I have been living the dream life."

Jesy's upbeat comments came after she split with Love Island star Chris Hughes at the start of lockdown.

She has since been linked with Our Girl actor Sean Sagar after The Sun Online's exclusive pictures saw them cosying up together outside a pub.

The chart star later chatted to hosts Dermot O'Leary, who was returning to telly for the first time since his son's birth, and Rochelle Humes, about getting back on set for scenes to accompany their 25th single, Holiday, this week.

Jesy said of the strict social distancing measures, which meant she was filming segments alone: “It was so weird.

"The minute I got to the studio everyone had to have their temperature checked, there were people in these bodysuits, these visors.

"Our makeup artists and our hair [stylists] had to have these suits on.

"It was the weirdest experience ever, but it was fun, but it’s amazing how they’ve done it.

"You would never know that we’ve been superimposed in the video, so it’s very cool.”

The Power singer then opened up about finally having some down time after winning the X Factor a decade ago.

Yet with the release of Little Mix's 25th single, Holiday, Jesy admitted being apart from her bandmates had been hard.

She said: "It has been horrible.

"We are like a family and to not be with them for this long has been horrible, because they are like my sisters.

"But I have seen them, and it has been amazing."
