Lorraine Kelly snubs Piers Morgan and reveals she’s not watched his new TV show

Lorraine Kelly has revealed she has no intentions of tuning into Piers Morgan's new TalkTV show, Uncensored.

They may have once worked together but it appears that Lorraine has other plans when his show airs on the network.

Despite not watching a full episode, she had nothing but praise for the 57-year-old just two weeks after Piers Morgan Uncensored took to the airwaves on April 25, 2022.

Speaking about his new show which sees him tackle the day's biggest news, Lorraine, 62, explained the show was "too late" for her to watch it.

She explained: "I did see the interview he did with Donald Trump, that was great, that was really, really good."

Opening up to the Metro at the BAFTA TV Awards on Sunday (April 8), she went on to say: "He's doing a brilliant job, I miss him, it's very quiet without him."

Dad-of-four Piers sensationally left ITV's Good Morning Britain with immediate effect after criticising Meghan Markle's bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey.

His stern words received over 57,000 Ofcom complaints, including a complaint from Meghan herself before he was cleared of any wrongdoing by Ofcom.

Since leaving ITV, Piers has continued to disagree with Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan, and recently hit out at the pair after it was announced they would be returning to the UK for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

The Sussexes announced their plans to return shortly after Buckingham Palace announced they would not be appearing on the balcony during the official Trooping The Colour Parade.

Lorraine recently explained to Daily Star that politicians including Boris Johnson often "underestimate" programmes like hers and newspapers like the Daily Star.

She said: "I think you get a lot more from people with sugar and vinegar, as my granny used to say, and you can disarm people.

"A lot of politicians tend to underestimate newspapers like Daily Star or shows like mine, that's fine, they can do that because then you can go in with the killer question and they're taken aback.

"If you look for an example of a perfect political interview, it was Susanna [Reid] with Boris Johnson."

But while Boris failed to know who Lorraine was, she laughed it off and said he had more important issues to consider.

"Wasn't that hilarious, why should he know who I am? I thought it was hilarious," she joked.

The Scottish star continued: "But it's fine, he should not be watching, he should be running the country, we don't expect him to be watching Daytime."
