Love Island 2019 viewers watched as Lucie Donlan picked Joe Garratt over Tommy Fury in the re-coupling on Friday night’s show.
This is after the stunning surfer had been flirting with both men all week.
However, did Lucie go with her heart by picking Joe, or is there another reason?
Fans have come up with a theory than Lucie, 21, only picked Joe so that he would stay in the villa.
“Not being funny but Lucie only chose Joe so she could have the best of both worlds”

The thought is that if Lucie had picked Tommy, 20, new bombshell Molly-May might have picked Callum Macleod instead – leaving Joe dumped.
So some fans think Lucie picked Joe so both Joe and Tommy stayed in – leaving Callum to go home.
One viewer tweeted: “Lucie has blatantly only coupled up with Joe because she knew Molly-Mae would pick Tommy, meaning she could carry on playing with both of them. She knew Joe would be gone if she’d picked Tommy herself.”
Another added: “Not being funny but Lucie only chose Joe so she could have the best of both worlds with him and the Hannah Montana lover, she’s deffo not about keeping her eggs in one basket.”
A third chimed in: “Y’all know Lucie picked Joe because she knew Molly-Mae would pick Tommy and she wanted to save them both to keep her options open, right?”
Lucie said in her re-coupling speech that she chose Joe, 22, as she saw a future with him on the outside.
This is despite claiming the opposite before the re-coupling took place.
Is Lucie an evil genius who has us all fooled? We’ll have to wait and see.
