Love Island’s Tom Walker has revealed his regret over his Hideaway comments towards Maura Higgins which sparked a huge row after leaving the villa on Thursday.
Tom and Maura came to blows after he told his fellow boys in the house that he wanted to “see if she was all mouth” before they were set to spend a night in the Hideaway.
After being axed from the villa alongside Arabella, Tom has spoken out on the incident saying it was “out of character”.
When asked if he made any mistakes along the way on his journey in the villa, he said: “Obviously the Hideaway comment.

“I just got ahead of myself and I made an out of character remark.”
After clashing with the gorgeous Irish model more than once, Tom said after his axe that there was “no other options” to couple up with her.
“Maura was the one I felt the closest connection to,” he said.

“There wasn’t really another option. I said what I said about her being OTT etc because it was early days and I was sound boarding off people.”
He added: “I perhaps should have just been straight from the off.”
Despite coupling up with Maura, Tom said his bond with the boys was his highlight of appearing on the ITV2 show.
“The bonds with the guys – we had a great laugh,” he said.
“The challenges are exciting. The whole experience was a good one.”
