Love Island viewers accuse Molly-Mae Hague of copying Lucie Donlan – amid her worries over the surfer’s friendship with Tommy Fury

Love Island viewers noticed that on Tuesday night’s episode, Molly-Mae wore her blonde hair in a similar crimped beach style to surfer Lucie.

Meanwhile, earlier in the episode Molly-Mae and Tommy Fury went on their first date.

As always, Instagram influencer Molly-Mae looked gorgeous in denim shorts and a white swimsuit – which was actually worn by Lucie during her first appearance in the villa.

Viewers took to Twitter to accuse Molly-Mae, 19, of copying 21 year old’s Lucie’s signature beach babe style.

One person wrote: “Molly Mae went on the date in Lucie’s swimsuit.. now she’s crimped her hair?? #LoveIsland.”

Another said: “Is it just a coincidence that Molly Mae has wavy surfer hair like Lucie in this episode?! #LoveIsland.”

Others wrote: “Is molly mae trying to look like Lucie lol?! First the swimsuit now the hair? #LoveIsland” and: “Creased that Molly Mae has done her hair like Lucie’s #LoveIsland.”

Days ago on the ITV2 dating show, during a chat with Maura Higgins, Lucie revealed that she wouldn’t rule out a romance with her pal, Tommy.

Lucie, meanwhile, is growing frustrated by the boundaries imposed on her relationship with Tommy, after he said they should cool down their friendship.

During a chat with the girls, she insists: “I’m not going to stop talking to him or stop acting like I did before around him, because I think that’s not really fair.

"It’s not normal. I don’t know if it’s him or her that’s come to this agreement. It’s weird to put an agreement on a friendship.”

Elaborating further in the Beach Hut, Lucie declares: “The fact that there’s boundaries on the friendship now between me and Tommy just annoys me more so I feel like I just want to go and talk to him more now because that’s just how I am which is bad, but I think that’s just weird.”
