Love Island winner Amber Gill slams Michael and Joanna nightclub kiss

She’s well and truly moved on with Greg O’Shea, but Love Island winner Amber Gill has admitted Michael Griffiths and Joanna Chimonides snogging in a nightclub is ‘weird’.

Michael famously cheated on Amber with Joanna while she was in Casa Amor, blamed her for it, then ditched Joanna to get back with Amber before kissing Joanna outside a London nightclub over the weekend ahead of Amber beating Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hughes and finally having the last laugh.

All caught up?

Fresh from her shock victory last night, Amber revealed Metro.co.uk she was floored Joanna would actually go back there.

‘Yeah, I am surprised,’ she told us. To be fair I didn’t see much of their relationship because I avoided watching it and how they were but Michael definitely tried to get back with me so that’s a bit weird.’

Whatever, Amber found the guy she was looking for and in hindsight, would she have been £25,000 richer if she’d stuck with Michael?

‘No, I don’t think I would have won,’ she insisted. ‘I think me and Greg are a good match. He came in when I needed a gent and that’s why it went to us. I think if I was with Michael it would have been going back to the guy who didn’t treat [me] well.’

Joanna denied kissing Michael, but speaking exclusively to Metro.co.uk last night the firefighter told us: ‘The pictures she’s talking about, we weren’t actually kissing. Then different pictures have come out which are quite undeniable.

‘We don’t really know where that’s going because obviously we still have feelings for each other and we can’t really turn that off.

‘We got to see each other for the first time since Aftersun, and it was us at an event with everybody.’

‘I like Joanna, I do like her,’ he went on. ‘But right now, we just want to see if we can have a conversation about things and move from there because we don’t actually know what’s going to happen.

‘We don’t know what’s going on in each other’s lives, how busy we’re going to be, stuff like that. Right now we just want to sit down, away from everybody so it’s just me and her, and chat.’

Love Island returns to ITV at the beginning of 2020.
