Abigail Rawlings and Dale Mehmet were not allowed to return to the main villa after they were brutally dumped from Love Island on Monday night's episode.
The tattoo artist and barber had been enjoying the party atmosphere at Island Vibes Club when host Laura Whitmore arrived with some shocking news.
She revealed that the public had been voting for their favourite boy and girl and two people would be exiting the competition immediately.
Laura revealed that Tyler Cruickshank, Dale, Jake Cornish, Abigail, Mary Bedford and Kaz Kamwi were among those who had received the fewest votes and were therefore at risk.
However, the final decision laid with their fellow co-star of the programme.
"Boys, you must now choose one girl to dump from the island. And girls you must choose one boy to send home," said Laura.
The host added: "Remember, those who you choose to dump will leave immediately without returning to the Villa.
"You may now discuss your decisions."
The Islander's began their tough deliberations among one another.
Had Mary and Kaz have also not featured in the line up, the choice of who to send home may have been a lot tougher.
However, with Liberty safe and fully in Jake's camp it was clear he wasn't going to be sent packing – even though he had upset many of the girls during Casa Amor.
Last week, the Islanders sat down to play a pub quiz and in usual fashion it was girl against boys, with the winning team allowed to select a movie to watch – but there was a twist.
The films unveiled some hidden truths and Jake was showcased encouraging the boys to enjoy their time away from the girls.
This didn't sit well with real estate agent Faye, who challenged him, snapping: "You wouldn't be telling your sister's boyfriend to do that, would you?"
On Sunday's episode, Jake and Faye went for a chat to resolve their differences but couldn't see eye-to-eye on the matter and decided to just draw a line in the sand.
Faye had bigger fish to fry after Teddy Soares was also shown in a bad light.
Producers opted to spice things up between the pair by airing a clip of Teddy getting close to Clarisse Juliette.
After an initial attraction between the two, Teddy decided what he had back in the main villa with Faye was better and slept outside on the daybed waiting to return to her.
However, it didn't appear that way in the short clip that saw Teddy confess that he was "sexually attracted" to Clarisse – and Faye didn't take it too well.
Faye later explained to Teddy that she wanted to "continue her journey alone".
Love Island continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2.
