Married At First Sight star details ‘worst scenes edited out’ of series: ‘Too graphic!’

Married At First Sight Australia: Cyrell throws wine over Jessika

There have been several explosive clashes on the latest series of Married At First Sight Australia. Last week Jessika Power explained she had an argument with Cyrell Paule but the full disagreement didn’t make the final cut. Billy Vincent also erupted at partner Susie Bradley calling her “a rude, obnoxious, nasty woman” before walking out.

Speaking at the Grand Reunion, Jessika detailed a clash between Cyrell and Ines Basic with Mike Gunner.

“It was language that ladies don’t use at all,” she explained.

“I’m not saying that women can’t swear, but not even men use that sort of language. I was baffled.

“Just imagine the worst of the worst – that’s what was coming out of Cyrell’s mouth.”

Following the reveal, former star Sarah Roza, who appeared in the fifth series, took to Instagram to detail how she wasn’t surprised the shocking moments had been taken out.

She wrote on her Instagram page: “I’m absolutely stressed up to my eyeballs reliving all of this!’ she wrote.

“My blood pressure is skyrocketing and after watching tonight’s episode I see that most of the worst scenes have been edited out, which I feel is a good thing because honestly it was just too graphic!

“It was absolutely off the chain that night.”

Meanwhile, also in the reunion, Jessika revealed she had fallen in love with Dan Webb.

Jessika left the groom she was partnered with, Mick Gould, while Dan also left his partner Tamara Joy.

With the relationship expert’s blessing, Jessika and Dan were able to stay on the show and pursue a romance.

Viewers saw the pair cement their relationship in the season six finale but Jessika has since revealed she was left heartbroken.

“It was hard to watch Dan and my final vows,” she said.

“Thinking that I was with somebody that loved me. Thinking that I was with somebody that actually wanted a life with me.

“I moved my entire life to the Gold Coast for this man. And, only to find out that it wasn’t really me that he wanted.

“I did love Dan,” she continued wiping away her tears.

Jessika added: “I would say we both probably did hurt each – one another, but yeah, it did. That is hard to watch.

“Because I don’t think he really thought I was as serious as I was.

“He just wasn’t the guy for me. It’s hurtful because we hurt people to get that.”

Married At First Sight airs weeknights on E4 at 7.30pm.
