Neighbours recently revealed Chloe Brennan (played by April Rose Pengilly) and Elly Conway (Jodi Anasta) would rekindle their romance.
The pair are set to go on a date following the former’s split from Pierce Greyson (Tom Robards).
However, their romance could be short-lived as suave Pierce has plans for his former flame.
Express.co.uk exclusively caught up with Tim about his character’s constant attraction to Chloe.
While remaining tight-lipped on the future for Pierce and Chloe, Tim teased they could reconcile.
When asked about why they make such a good couple, the actor suggested: “I think Pierce with her, she lives life like she could die tomorrow and that could be fun but also be really hard to live your life like that.
“She needs a bit of structure and support and he’s her rock, her security.”
However, it seems although Chloe will move on, Pierce won’t give up on her.
Tim admitted: “He was hoping underlying in his gut he wants to be with her, but he doesn’t want to be hurt and he’s concerned she’s not ready yet.
“He’s wised up a little bit,” the Pierce actor said, referring to the amount of times his character had been hurt in the past.

Tim continued: “It’s like, ‘You know what, I’m in for the long game. I want her when she’s ready and I don’t want her any other way.’
“If that happens before I move off then great, but if not, I want it to happen naturally.
“He becomes a friend through the process and if he can build a relationship from a friend base that would be better than doing some escorting and paying for her time!”
While Tim is giving nothing away, he does allude to Pierce’s competitive streak.
The wealthy businessman will stop at nothing to get what he wants, and it seems he is prepared to hold out for his love.
But will he get what he wants? Or will Elly manage to stick around with Chloe a little longer this time?
Meanwhile, Tim opened up on what it’s like potentially being the man behind the character who ruins fans’ favourite coupling.
He laughed: “You can never please everyone. There’s always going to be people on the fence. You can’t base everything off vocal Twitter.
“However, I would love for people to invest in the character, and so far, people have only seen a one-dimensional Pierce. You haven’t learned what has made him tick and how the hell this guy has made all the wealth.
