Piers Morgan was not holding back at all today as he was eager to point out the confusion surrounding the current coronavirus lockdown situation in the UK. And he was no different whilst talking to Secretary of State for Housing, Robert Jenrick, this morning.
After welcoming the politician onto Good Morning Britain, Piers was eager to ask him about the government guidelines.
The hosts brought up the ongoing controversy involving NHS staff receiving parking fines for parking at their hospitals.
Jenrick explained: “We are taking action to support NHS staff as best we can.
“We are already indebted to them – anything further we could be doing, Piers, we should be considering.”

With this comment hanging in the air, Ranvir Singh asked Jenrick about a recent comment they had received from Cheryl in Glasgow.
Cheryl, a nurse, explained she had been getting parking tickets every day at her hospital – despite working against the coronavirus each day.
Singh asked: “Can you tell NHS staff and medics to not pay these parking tickets?”
But Jenrick was adamant he couldn’t say confirm this detail, as he deflected: “I don’t know the circumstances – with respect.
“I don’t know where she got this – but it’s up to local councils.”
Singh jumped in once again to furiously announce: “She’s literally just told you the circumstances. Cheryl is in Glasgow, she’s a nurse.”
Jenrick hit back once again, adding: “I don’t know the exact circumstances.
“I will be asking all local councils to support health and social care workers in this time and show them any support they can.”
Morgan was not happy with these responses, as he angrily replied: “We asked Matt Hancock on Monday – has been done 48 hours later!
“NHS workers are getting parking tickets and it’s shameful!”
While many different guidelines have been submitted to tell workers to stay home, Piers argued it had changed in the last week, or so.
He pointed at the government guidelines changing in recent days, and commented: “The language has changed!”

While Morgan took this point to Jenrick, he was adamant things hadn’t changed.
Morgan condemned him, saying: “Stop hiding behind science!”
To which Jenrick responded: “I’m not hiding behind science, Piers. I’m being guided by science.”
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
