Riches has been released in full today, Thursday, December 22, on ITV’s new streaming service ITVX. The six-part drama follows the wealthy Richards family, who are all determined to fight for control over the business empire left in the wake of their father’s death. Here’s all there is to know about the cast of Riches.
Who is in the cast of Riches?
Nina Richards – Deborah Ayorinde
Nina Richards is the estranged daughter of the family who makes a return after her dad passes away.
She is played by actress Deborah Ayorinde who starred as Livia “Lucky” Emory in the Amazon Prime horror movie Them.
Some of her other roles have been in The Game, Survivor’s Remorse, Sleepy Hollow, Game of Silence, Deceit and The Village.
Most recently, Ayorinde was in last year’s drama Truth Be Told as Rose.
Stephen Richards – Hugh Quarshie
The entire Richards family is left in shock and in mourning after the death of their dad Stephen Richards.
He was a self-made millionaire who provided a luxury lifestyle for his children for as long as they can remember.
With him now deceased, he leaves behind a family who wishes to have power over the empire he built.
Actor Hugh Quarshie has been in The Church, Highlander, Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, Holby City and The Murder of Stephen Lawrence.
Claudia – Sarah Niles
Claudia is the second wife of Stephen who must cope with his bickering children.
She has appeared in shows such as I May Destroy You, Trying, Viewpoint, The Sandman and Mister Eleven.
Gideon – Brendan Coyle
Stephen’s trusted advisor and confidante Gideon is working on behalf of Stephen, even from beyond the grave, in ensuring everything is conducted as fairly as possible.
He is played by actor Brendan Coyle, best known for playing Bates in ITV’s Downton Abbey.

Maureen Dawson – Hermione Norris
Maureen Dawson is Stephen’s long-standing and faithful personal assistant.
She, much like Gideon, has her former employer’s best interests and well wishes at heart.
Hermione Norris’ breakout role was as Karen Marsden in the comedy-drama Cold Feet back in the 1990s.
Her other roles have been in Kingdom, Wire in the Blood, Spooks and Between Two Worlds.
