The Traitors hit by ‘fix’ claims just hours before show final as the final five battle it out | The Sun

THE TRAITORS has been hit by 'fix' claims as viewers claim the show is 'rigged' hours before the final airs.

Tonight, one or more of the remaining contestants in the hit BBC1 show will win the game, with millions tuning in to find out if the faithfuls with triumph, or the traitors will get the last laugh.

But many fans are crying foul, claiming the game has been fixed in favour of one of the traitors winning after last night's twist.

Wednesday night's show saw Wilf, who was the last remaining Traitor at the time, told by host Claudia Winkleman that he had to chose another member of the game to recruit to his dark side.

He opted for Kieran, giving him the ultimatum to either join him as a traitor or be killed.

Kieran chose to join him, leaving Meryl, Hannah and Aaron as the remaining faithfuls once Maddy was banished.

But the game-changing move by producers means some fans are claiming the Traitors now have an advantage.

"It’s kinda rigged tbh. Adding a new Traitor so late in the game made it nearly impossible for the faithfuls to win," one tweeted.

A second added their analysis, chipping in: "Do think if the game is going to be rigged in their favour to the degree that it has to be to make a guaranteed 12 ep tv show, then the producers should pick The Traitors initially at random, to avoid the sort of casting logic metagame that's driving this endgame."

Meanwhile a third said: "Seems a bit fixed adding another traitor as both voting same at table the odds in their favour of getting rid of faithfuls."

The Sun has reached out to a rep for the show for comment.

As we head into tonight's final, there is £81,050 currently in the prize pot, and the 'mission of all missions' left to compete in.

A teaser aired at the end of the penultimate episode saw Aaron jumping from a helicopter into the open water below.

Meanwhile Hannah declared she was determined not to let the mysterious baddies win the game.

"I just can’t let a Traitor take all this money," she said as the tension ramped up.

The Traitors finale airs at 9pm tonight (December 22) on BBC1.
