AceShowbiz -“The Voice” season 21 aired Night 3 of Knockouts on Monday, November 1. The new episode of the long-running singing competition show saw coach Blake Shelton finally using his steal button as other coaches, Ariana Grande, John Legend and Kelly Clarkson, had used their steals.

Shadale and Samara Brown from Team John hit the stage for the first knockout of the night. Samara belted out Tina Turner‘s “The Best”, while Shadale opted to sing Shontelle‘s “Impossible”. Both of them earned standing ovation from John, but he needed to pick one of them as the winner. After much consideration, John named Shadale as the winner of the Knockout.

Following it up were Carson Peters and Lana Scott from Team Blake. Carson opted to sing George Strait‘s “Amarillo by Morning”. As for Lana, she hoped to advance to the next round with her take on “Wildest Dreams” by Taylor Swift. Of their performances, Blake said that Carson did everything he could with a tough song. He then praised Lana over the “wow” performance that night. He eventually chose to keep Lana on his team.

Later, it were Bella DeNapoli and Katherine Ann Mohler from Team Ariana. Bella picked “Chandelier” by Sia Furler. She shared that she could relate to the song because of her own experience in a dark place. Katherine Ann, meanwhile, went with Bel Biv DeVoe‘s “Poison” after Ariana encouraged her to take unexpected songs and make them her own. Ariana loved that Katherine pushed herself in the competition, while she praised Bella over her stunning performance. Ariana chose Bella as the winner.

Xavier Cornell and Jeremy Rosado from Team Kelly were up next. Jeremy made a risky move by choosing Whitney Houston‘s “Run to You”. As for Xavier, he went with “Falling Slowly” for his Knockout performance. Kelly praised Jeremy for his bold song choice. She also loved that Xavier picked an emotional song as it fit his voice perfectly. Kelly eventually chose Jeremy as the winner.

Jim and Sasha Allen later went against Manny Keith from Team Ariana. Manny belted out Harry Styles‘ “Golden”, while the duo chose “Home” by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros.
