Wendy Williams' ex-husband Kevin Hunter SLAMMED for 'shading' host in new Instagram post after she's rushed to hospital

WENDY Williams’ ex-husband Kevin Hunter was SLAMMED “shading” the troubled host in a new Instagram post.

Kevin shared a selfie with a cryptic caption after the talk show host was rushed to the hospital.

Wendy’s ex took to Instagram on Tuesday to post of selfie of him wearing large sunglasses and a black face mask.

Alongside the photo, Kevin wrote: “Bday vibes ALL WEEK‼️💪🏾💪🏾🎉..so THANKFUL to the MOST HIGH “GOD” for ALL BLESSINGS…I tried to tell ‘EM ..HEALTH IS WEALTH ..not MONEY‼️..GOD said “They’ll LEARN”‼️‼️‼️HAVE A BLESSED DAY🙏🏿🙏🏿💪🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾”

Shortly after he shared the snap, fans rushed to the comments section to slam the TV producer for seemingly throwing shade at his 57-year-old ex.

Many fans believe his comments about health were a direct attack at Wendy, who was recently hospitalized for psychiatric issues.

One Instagram user commented: “TASTELESS AS HELL.”

Another added: “Karma is sharpening her nails for you sir be careful kicking people when they’re down 😒”

A third chimed in: “Classless and full of thirst…. may Wendy have a speedy recovery cuz there’s people out here named kelvin praying and waiting for her downfall.”

An additional social media user wrote: “And the fact that you would say this knowing what Wendy is going through is not of God! So don't bring God into this! Devil I rebuke you!”

Others slammed Kevin for “living off Wendy’s money,” with one fan writing: “Then give Wendy back all her money and stand on your own two feet Kevin. Dragging God into your mess."

Wendy and Kevin were married from 1997-2019, while they share son Kevin Jr., 20.

Since their split, Kevin has been living with his alleged longtime mistress Sharina Hudson and their daughter Journey, two.

Last week, The Sun broke the news that Wendy was transported to a local New York City hospital after police received a 911 call from her building about a 57-year-old female in need of psychiatric services.

An ambulance arrived on scene and transported a woman matching Wendy’s description to a nearby hospital for evaluation.

A Wendy Williams Show source said of the incident: “No one can tell her 'No.' People are afraid to speak up.”

Another show insider previously disclosed to The Sun: "The staff has been back for weeks now anticipating to have the show return at the end of the month.

"Now with the premiere pushed back, staff are increasingly concerned about the fate of the show.”

Additionally, an ambulance was pictured outside Wendy's apartment building around the time of the incident.

An NYPD spokesperson told The Sun: “There was a call for a 57-year-old non-violent female who needed psychiatric services at that address on Wednesday morning. They were transported to the hospital.”

The Wendy Williams Show’s official Instagram then announced that she was postponing her upcoming season premiere, after canceling several appearances earlier this month.

The post stated: “While continuing her health evaluations, Wendy has tested positive for a breakthrough case of COVID-19.

“To allow Wendy time to quarantine and fully recover and to ensure that our production abides by all SAG/AFTRA and DGA Covid protocols, we expect to begin the 13th season of The Wendy Williams Show on Monday, October 4th.

“In the meantime, repeats will be scheduled.”

More recently, an insider revealed to The Sun that Wendy is “in need of serious help and was drinking every day” before the hospitalization.

The source added that the show's staff members have smelled liquor on her.

The source shared: "Everyone is an enabler because they don't want to lose their job. They see it, they know it, they smelled the liquor.”

The 57-year-old host, who had previously opened up about her struggles with sobriety, checked into a sober living house in 2019 after filing for divorce from Kevin.

Despite the stay, the insider said: “Wendy drinks every day and the only time she was sober was when she was at the sober house.”

They added: “Her staffers are worried but no one is ever going to speak up because they don't want to lose their jobs.

“She's an alcoholic. A bad one. She doesn’t need a talk show, she needs help.”
