Throughout all the drama the Dutton family has experienced over the course of three seasons of Yellowstone, Rip Wheeler (played by Cole Hauser) and Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) have managed to stay together since they were teenagers. After overcoming some rocky moments, she finally proposed to him, but the wedding bells might still be far off since her life was put in danger recently.
Season three ended on a massive cliffhanger as Kayce (Luke Grimes), John (Kevin Costner) and Beth all became targets of attacks on the Duttons.
It’s still uncertain who is alive and who will die, so the wedding is also very much in the air.
But all the way back when it was first announced, some of the show’s cast members weight in on the whole affair.
Appearing on Paramount Network’s YouTube show Stories from the Bunkhouse, Jefferson White, Ian Bohen and Denim Richards expressed their hopes for the wedding.
The actors, who respectively play Jimmy, Ryan and Colby, watched a scene together in which Rip asks Lloyd (Forrie J. Smith) to be his best man.
“What would Lloyd’s bachelor party for rip look like?” wondered White.
“I think he would be in the bunkhouse, just pinning up just one ribbon, standing on a stool with like the spike in his mouth, extra beer and just be so proud of himself,” imagined Bohen.
Richards added: “And it would be the same bunkhouse right? Nothing is different just one little ribbon. And it’s like a rein, it’s not even ribbon, it’s just the reins from the horses and then he just ties them up.”
Bohen continued: “Rip would be ‘You said you handled it’ and Lloyd would be [looking around] ‘Yeah I did’.”
The actor then asked his co-stars to wonder on another hypothetical: “Are we going to see the wedding?
“Is it going to be a small intimate affair or is it going to be a giant party where the whole world is at?”
Immediately, Richards replied: “I think we’re not even gonna be there.”

“I think we’re catering,” mused White to which Bohen added: “Gator’s invited,” referencing Gabriel Guilbeau’s character, and Richards seconded: “For sure!”
Richards also added: “We have a whole crew that we’re gonna go in matching white shirts with the little cuffs,” he imagined the trio going to the wedding.
“No coats just the cummerbunds,” added Bohen.
While the three seemed to have a lot of fun discussing the possibility of the wedding, unfortunately for fans not much is known about season four as of yet.
When the season three finale aired, Reilly shared a post to her Instagram which sounded like a goodbye to her character.
She wrote: “Thank you all who watched season 3. Hope you all enjoy tonight’s finale. what a wild ride it’s been xx @yellowstone.”
If her character were to turn out dead at the start of the next season, while it would leave many fans disappointed, it would lead to some interesting development with Rip.
How would his character react to his fiancé’s death?
Yellowstone season 4 is released on Paramount Network later this year.
